Children’s
Hospital Boston has redesigned its online
newsroom, adding new content and valuable resources to better serve
journalists seeking top-level pediatric news. Recent news released on the
site include an embargoed announcement of the launch of the hospital’s
human embryonic stem cell research program, the implantation of the first-ever
tissue engineered organs into patients, and a one-on-one interview with
Children’s Hospital Boston sleep specialist Dr. Richard Ferber.
With a new embargoed news section,
an updated look, and improved navigation and functionality, the News Room
provides expanded access to background information on research studies
and medical advances, allowing reporters to better understand the latest
research as well as diagnostic and procedural developments. In addition,
the new site includes contextual links to Children’s publications with
stories about patients and featuring physicians, staff, and the latest
innovations and medical technologies at Children’s Hospital Boston.
