Writer/poet
Martin
Goldberg today announced the launch of http://www.Leonardoscode57.com,
a Website inspired by the internationally bestselling book and upcoming
major motion picture “The Da Vinci Code.” The Website launch also commemorates
the 554th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci's birthday, which passes each
year on April 15.
Goldberg, 48, has read about
500 non-fiction books in the last 15 years covering topics from ancient
philosophy and history to modern astronomy and physics. For Goldberg, one
book stands out among the rest: “The Da Vinci Code” by Dan Brown.
“The Da Vinci Code is a classic
work of pulp fiction,” Goldberg said. “While many criticize Mr. Brown,
one Da Vinci Code fact is certain - this pulp fiction novel has entertained
and informed millions of people worldwide, causing many to consider these
mysteries for the first time and think about their faith for themselves.”
The centerpiece of Goldberg’s
site is the 26-stanza poem he penned that addresses various subjects made
popular worldwide by “The Da Vinci Code.” A second poem posted on the site
offers a clever and entertaining take on the upcoming movie.
The site also contains articles
authored by Goldberg that offer his insights into the subjects of The Sangraal
Myth, The Holy Grail, “The Da Vinci Code” in general and the act of writing
poetry.
Visitors to the site can purchase
a PDF version of Goldberg’s poem “Leonardo’s Code” through PayPal. The
site's visitors can also e-mail friends and family a free version of Goldberg’s
poem, “The Poet.”
Goldberg added that Leonardoscode57.com
is primarily a personal publishing portal to express his various views.
For instance, the following
is an excerpt from Goldberg's poem, “Leonardo’s Code”:
“Whatever Truth is
True, it seems
of bloodlines and the feminine,
a question this will always
be
‘till answered by The Priory.”
