Visicom Media Inc. today
announced the release of VMN Toolbar
Wizard, an online application that allows Web publishers to create
their own branded toolbars. In about 10 minutes, publishers can deploy
their toolbars on their Web sites.
The browser has now become the most wanted
and strategic real estate on a PC. A toolbar is the best tool for a Web
publisher to achieve high visibility in users' browsers and create top-of-mind
awareness. VMN Toolbar Wizard puts the latest toolbar technology in the
hands of publishers. Beside search functionality, a publisher's toolbar
can be customized with popular features like RSS news, weather, games,
antispyware scan, popup blocker, and more.
"With VMN Toolbar Wizard, publishers have
access to a complete toolbar solution without any investment on their end.
They can build their toolbar in a extremely user-friendly environment,
customize it according to their needs, deploy it and track usage with user
statistics," said Patrice Carrenard, CEO of Visicom Media Inc. "No
other toolbar solution provides such extensive functionality."
A toolbar built with VMN Toolbar Wizard provides
the Web publisher with unique and innovative features for users. On the
toolbar, users can have their favorite RSS news feeds delivered in a quick
and easy-to-use dropdown list. Organizing RSS feeds, which are detected
automatically by the toolbar, is simple with the built-in RSS News Manager.
The manager also enables users to create custom feeds to track their favorite
news.
The weather feature can be customized by publishers
to display up to 7 cities in a users toolbar from a selection of 500 cities
around the world. Games are also popular among Internet users. Publishers
have the opportunity to offer online games to their users directly on their
toolbars.
VMN Toolbar Wizard currently supports Internet
Explorer. Firefox support will be available by the end of April. VMN Toolbar
Wizard is offered in English with the French version coming later in June.
More information on VMN Toolbar Wizard is available at toolbarwizard.vmn.net.
